The Well Open Day 28.11.20

We are all super excited to be opening our doors to the public next Saturday 28 November 2020 between 10am - 2pm, Shop 51A, The Tannery, Woolston, Christchurch, New Zealand. Head down the walkway besides The Fabric Store.


Join Us on Saturday 28th November as we open our studios for you to explore, learn and meet The Well’s team of experienced practitioners.

We're all passionate about helping clients restore balance and strength to all of their body systems.

Stop by, explore, chat and stay for a complimentary massage, micro workshops and more!


Book any service at The Well or subscribe to the Gym on the day and you’ll go in the draw to win one of five prize packages worth a total of $1000 from free gym memberships to personal training, reformer Pilates and activation therapy to be won.

Prize Packages:

1/ Vital You Total Body Package including four weeks gym membership and personalised training programme, a personal training session, an activation therapy assessment, a one hour massage and Pilates or circuit class of your choice.

Personal Trainer, Jen Rice and physio, Andy Scott will share handy techniques from myofascial release to glute activation in their 20 minute micro workshops. No booking necessary, there is plenty of space.

15 MINUTE MASSAGES Experience Remedial Massage Therapist Julie Wardle, at work. 10:30am - 12:30pm (every 10 mins)

MYOFASCIAL RELEASE Learn how to use your foam roller and balls correctly 10:00 am - 10:20am with Personal Trainer, Jen Rice

BREATHWORK Hack your nervous system to relax and release your hamstrings. 11:00am - 11:20am with Physiotherapist, Andy Scott

SENSORY FEEDBACK Learn how to reset your system to relax and release your neck. 12 noon - 12:20pm with Physiotherapist, Andy Scott

GLUTE ACTIVATION Learn how to activate your deep core and get in touch with your glutes 1pm - 1:20pm with Physiotherapist, Andy Scott


Massage therapist and former nurse, Julie Wardle, will ofer 15 minute neck and shoulder or lower leg massages from 10:30am - 12:30pm. She’ll have a booking sheet on the day - pop your name in, take a tour or workshop and take advantage of Julie’s 30+ years of remedial, sports and Bowen Therapy expertise. >>


The Gym is part of Jen Rice Fitness. It’s equipped with brand new, state-of-the-art TechnoGym(R) equipment that’s super easy to use. Combine membership with Jen and fellow PT, Gemma Fruean’s programmes and you’ll soon be ready for an active summer outdoors. >>
